About us

Navigator Consulting is a collective of freelance public engagement experts, co-ordinated by Dom McDonald. Since 2020 we have used our diverse skills and experience, and a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods, to help our clients think through whom they want to engage with and why, how they are going to engage with those people, and how they would know if they had engaged with those people effectively. We follow ESRC’s six principles of ethical research and we always aim to promote high ethical standards within our work. We have a fundamental commitment to equitable practice, and attempt to take account of structural inequalities in society in the way we work with each other, with our clients, and with all the people affected by the projects we work on.
